Olin joins HomeSphere during a time of rapid growth and change, as the company realizes its industry-changing vision. In his role, he will cultivate the company’s business development strategy, including the advancement of HomeSphere-IQ and its data services offering for top construction product brands. He will also oversee the account management of HomeSphere’s current client list of more than 60 building product manufacturers, offering rebates on more than 1,500 building products.
“With more than 20 years of experience in sales, a strong reputation in the industry, and a deep understanding of data and decision support tools, Sean is the perfect candidate for HomeSphere at this time,” said HomeSphere CEO Glenn Renner. “He will help us realize our vision to create a powerful marketplace that changes how products are sourced in the modern construction industry, and how homes are maintained, remodeled and accessed by third parties.”
Olin is a multi-million-dollar producer with a talent for creating product lines that meet the genuine needs of the customer segment. Prior to joining HomeSphere, he spent five years as Vice President of Research Technology Sales for Meyers Research, a division of Kennedy Wilson that provides market research solutions for the new home construction industry. He also served as Division Sales Director for Meyers Group/Hanley Wood Market Intelligence from 2001 to 2011. He was National Sales Manager for Trivantage, where he introduced a new shade solution to the builder vertical, and Director of Sales and Marketing for ProHome Mid-Atlantic, a provider of warranty services for builders.
HomeSphere is the construction industry’s only direct channel to the largest community of homebuilders in the United States. Builders use HomeSphere’s tools and services to discover the right products for the homes they build, earn incentives on over 1,500 building products from foundation to finish, and develop long-lasting relationships with building product manufacturers. HomeSphere’s 2,300+ builder members construct and close over 17 percent of all homes built.
